Fr. David Wheeler

Fr. David Wheeler grew up in Clay County KY as a parishioner of St Ann Mission. He is the 4th of seven children and has three brothers and three sisters. He was homeschooled through high school. After his graduation in 2008 he worked in for three years in construction and farming. David entered seminary for the Diocese of Lexington in 2011. After receiving a BA in philosophy and humanities David was sent to the Pontifical North American College in Rome, where he earned both a STB (Sacred Theology Baccalaureate) from the Pontifical Gregorian University and a STL (Sacred theology Licentiate) in moral theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum).

Father Wheeler was ordained to the priesthood on June 29th 2019 in the Cathedral of Christ the King. After completing his advanced studies in Rome, Fr. Wheeler was assigned for three months as the Sacramental Minister of St Andrews in Harrodsburg, KY beginning in July 1st of 2020.
